Papers on Inner Asia
Papers on Inner Asia is a refereed occasional paper series focused on the history, language, literature, and culture of Inner Asia. Initially published between 1986 and 2007 (in 40 issues) under the editorship of Yuri Bregel, PIA was known worldwide as a unique and significant publication series in Central Asian, Inner Asian, Tibetan, Mongolian, Turkic, and Iranian Studies.
The series is being revived through the auspices of the Sinor Research Institute for Inner Asian Studies (SRIFIAS) at Indiana University, in conjunction with Indiana University Press, under the editorship of Devin DeWeese and Ron Sela, and supporting a new editorial board.
