We are happy to come to you and present a talk on any of our video conference topics or any Central Eurasian theme, or provide a cultural display with activities suitable for your group. Please contact us if you are interested in arranging a visit. We will do our best to make arrangements that suit your needs, but visits to locations outside of Bloomington require planning , so get in touch today.
Virtual visits
Not in Bloomington, but looking for some international programming? The IAUNRC delivers interactive presentations to community groups on Central Eurasian topics through interactive video conferencing. Center staff can customize a presentation for your group’s needs, or you can select from our most popular programs. Contact us if you have any questions.
Lending collections
The IAUNRC maintains of a collection of several thousand items that can be loaned, free of charge, for non-commercial use to members of the public of non-commercial and private usage. Our collection includes framed photographs, DVDs, cultural clothing items, books, audio recordings, and regional crafts.
Cultural events
Indiana is home to people from all over the world and IAUNRC partners with other organizations to help communities celebrate major holidays and festivals important to the peoples of Central Eurasia. Additionally, IAUNRC works with partners works to bring artists from Central Eurasia to Indiana to participate in events like the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival.
Educational materials
IAUNRC develops materials related to the languages and cultures of Central Eurasia on an ongoing basis. Members of the public may request these materials, which are available free of charge for non-commercial educational or private use. There is no charge for shipping within the United States.
Recordings of events
IAUNRC regularly records lectures, concerts, and performances that it sponsors so that they may be made available online as a convenience for scholars and a learning resource for the public. Our publicly available archive includes recordings about our region from some of the preeminent scholars of the world, all made available thanks to their kind permission.
