Elliot Sperling Tibetan Language Scholarship

Coline Sperling, Elliot Sperling’s daughter, graciously has decided to endow a scholarship in her father’s name to support students who pursue Tibetan Studies at Indiana University and who demonstrate their commitment to the field by studying the Tibetan language.

With Coline’s support, we have launched the Elliot Sperling Tibetan Language Scholarship. We invite anyone who wishes to contribute to the scholarship to do so. The process is easy (see instructions below) and all funds go directly to the scholarship (there is no administrative overhead). 

Instructions

To contribute to the Elliot Sperling Tibetan Language Scholarship:

1. Go to https://www.myiu.org/one-time-gift
2. In the “Write in gift area” (bottom of the page), please write Elliot Sperling Tibetan Language Scholarship, click the + sign, and next. The rest is self-explanatory.

Per Indiana University Foundation policy, new endowment accounts which do not become fully funded at the required stated minimum through pledges/gifts at the time of the establishment of the account and through fulfilled pledges/gifts after five years will be converted, and all gifts will be made available to support the intent outlined in the supporting agreement.
