International Symposium “Attested Middle Chinese in Early Foreign Transcriptions and Loanwords”

The Center is part of the recently renamed Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.

In May 2022, IU Department of Central Eurasian Studies Distinguished Professor Christopher Beckwith organized a symposium on "Attested Middle Chinese in Early Foreign Transcriptions and Loanwords" at the IU Europe Gateway in Berlin. HLS News reports.
