On February 28th, 2014, a poetry recitation contest dedicated to the 531st Anniversary of Babur's birth was held. Babur, a descendent of Timur and Chinggis Khan, founded the Mughal Empire and wrote his memoirs entitled Baburanama, and was a prolific poet.
